Bisons du Nord
Bisons du Nord is one of the oldest bison farms in Canada and the largest in Eastern Canada. Since 1972, Pierre Bélanger and his family have grown the ranch into a herd of 250 animals that grazes in large open pastures. See the bison up close on a wagon tour and learn more about this farm and its history.
Thornloe Cheese Factory
The Thornloe Cheese Factory, making cheese since 1940, is a farmer-owned, small batch cheese company that uses over 4 million liters of milk a year. Visit the Factory, learn about the cheese making process and try some cheese. Take home some cheese curds, Devil's Rock or Thornloe's new grass fed cheese and butter.
Garden Pleasures
Garden Pleasures is a farm in the New Liskeard area owned and operated by Bev and Ross Brubacher. They grow vegetables over 15 acres of terrain and raise their own drug- and hormone-free pork, turkey, beef, and free-range chickens.
Cafe Meteor Bistro
The Cafe Meteor Bistro, located in Haileybury, focuses on local food and the farm to table concept. Working closely with local producers and products, the Bistro offers delicious dishes, highlighting where the food comes from.
